But how was the printing press, which is the subject matter, invented until we acquired this equipment?
A Brief History of Printing
A scientist named Johan Gutenberg, originally German, invented the first printing press in the Netherlands. The first printing press, invented in 1450, worked on the principle of skillfully processing wooden molds and printing them on paper using a very primitive method. Words written by highly skilled calligraphers and shapes drawn were engraved onto wood by engravers, resulting in the first typesetting. Over time, as printing developed and became known worldwide, it began to spread, and it was brought to our country during the Tulip Period of the Ottoman Empire by İbrahim Müteferrika. İbrahim Müteferrika's heirs serve you, our customers, as Topkapi printing service, and we are waiting for you 24/7 to carefully prepare your orders. Through what stages has it passed, enabling us to serve you today as Topkapi printing service? Since its invention, the printing institution has developed significantly and continued its journey by constantly increasing its capacity. We owe a debt of gratitude to the inventors and R&D employees who enable us to provide quality service to every sector in every field with developing technology and production tools.
