Documents Required for Driver's License Course Registration
Documents Required for Registration
Those who want to get a driver's license must attend driving schools. A driving school prepares candidates for the written and practical exam organized by the Ministry of National Education, and attending this course is mandatory. It is not possible to get a driver's license without attending the course. Therefore, candidates should choose courses that serve with an educational staff.
Driver's License Course Fees
Candidates who want to register for a driving school must pay a certain fee. This fee can be paid in cash or in installments at the discretion of the driving school. The required documents for registration are: diploma or student certificate, copy of identity card, parental consent for those under 18 years of age, copy of driver's license for those who want to obtain a different license, biometric photograph, criminal record certificate, and health report. Anyone who provides these documents can register for a driving school. Course fees are determined according to the tariff set by the state. The nature of the course can create price differences. For example, the fee for an automatic transmission course may differ from the fee for a regular transmission course. Some candidates may choose to take special lessons to improve their driving experience. An extra fee must be paid for private driving lessons in addition to the course fee. If candidates pass the exam on the scheduled date at the end of the course on their first attempt, they will not have to pay again. However, a candidate who fails the driving test will have to pay the fee and take driving lessons again.
