Panel Systems
Panel Types by Size
Panel systems are facade elements designed in 2-3 axis widths and one-story heights. Panels can contain materials other than glass and aluminum. They can be designed in vertical - horizontal layouts. They are the most preferred product type in modern buildings. Panel systems are frequently used in industrial structures, medium-large production areas, exterior facade cladding, and interior-exterior wall dividers. Panels are surface elements and are used for covering surfaces. They can be designed in various weights, sizes, and materials.
Panel Types
Panels are examined in two main categories in terms of size: small panels and large panels. Small panels are used in multiple numbers. Small panels are further divided into blocks, narrow panels, and medium-width panel types. Blocks are small-surfaced structural elements of equal or large volume. Blocks are divided into narrow panels and medium-width panels. Narrow panels can be 40-50 cm. Medium panels have larger widths and are smaller than the mechanical dimension. In large panels, the width can be equal to or larger than the mechanical dimension. While horizontal blocks do not require temporary connections during installation, temporary connections are used in vertical panels due to the need for a balancing element.
