What are the Conditions for Opening a Taxi Stand
One of the most profitable and lucrative investments today is taxiing, buying a license plate, and opening a stand. For these reasons, many people want to work as a taxi driver and especially open a stand, but this is a very costly business. All vehicles within the scope of commercial operation must be regularly maintained at specific intervals. Furthermore, if you neglect these special maintenance procedures, you may encounter difficulties both legally and financially. Ensure that the names and phone numbers of your stand are displayed on all your vehicles to increase memorability. On the other hand, you can effectively utilize marketing materials such as flyers and advertisements. Within zoning plans, it is important to ensure that public land areas designated for roads and offered to the public do not obstruct transportation and traffic flow.
What are the Required Documents and Papers for Opening a Taxi Stand
There are specific documents and papers that are absolutely necessary for opening a taxi stand. One of the initial rules is that the stands must have space for at least eight vehicles to park. Stands operating with a commercial taxi license plate must have a first-aid kit, and the ground surfaces must be covered with materials that do not cause pollution, such as concrete or asphalt. Stands located on the roadside must not impede traffic, and the stands must be equipped with radio and telephone systems. A business license, taxi meters, property ownership, comprehensive liability insurance, and business cards must also be present at the stands. For stands operating with a commercial taxi license plate, all taxi stand locations opened or to be opened adjacent to the roadway must be within a bay. Alternatively, if a bay cannot be created, but the location is not on a busy or risky road section, it can be located at the roadside, provided it is marked with horizontal and vertical signs. In such cases, permission for taxi stand locations can be granted quickly.
