The Reason Taxis Are Yellow
When we see the color yellow in traffic, we immediately think of a taxi. This is because taxis are yellow almost everywhere in our country. In fact, this situation is not unique to Turkey. Taxis are yellow in most parts of the world. This is certainly not the result of a habit. It has been proven that colors affect people.
The Importance of Being a Striking Color for Taxis
Yellow is a very strong color. It can evoke anger in people. For this reason, we do not often see this color in traffic, especially in private vehicles. This way, when we see the color yellow, we understand that it is a taxi. This makes the taxi, which is a commercial vehicle, more visible. This way, it gets more business. Yellow also represents transience. Taxis are also transient for every customer.
